Hello, I'm new with Cindigo and the x64 version of Cinema R10.5 doesn't recognize the exporter, The x86 version doesn't have a problem but I have to work with x64 at home, can you help me to make x64 recognize the plugin? please.

I work with Windows XP Pro 64 and Vista home premium 64 too.
thank's a lot

Hey Raf...

Simply use the 32bit version for exporting to Indigo :roll:

Or are your c4d files realy soooooo heavy that they crash the 32bit version?

Hi, thanks, I was working yesterday with the 32 version and had no problem with Cindigo, so now I have to learn how to use both Cinema and Cindigo, that leads to the next cuestion: Where can I find tutos for Cinema and Cindigo?, I worked before with 3ds max but find that Cinema is very friendly so I want to change to it.

I don´t know if i am right or it is my fault, but i get an error every time i convert a cinema4d material with an active "Leucht Kanal" (don´t know what it is callesd in english, maybe illumination or luminance channel). I can convert the material but when i start Indigo, then an error appears. Also Cindigo doesn´t seem to use textures for the light layers, means i have manually write into the igs:

<emission>
<texture> ...

And i would thank you for an explanation for the camera tonemappig (when i use the "dscs315.txt" as camera typ, my renders are always black).

(Hope my english isn´t so bad and understandable :) )

For camera tonemapping you need to setup correct ISO values and so on... Go inform yourself what a real cam would use and go for those values ;)

hmm but i have to give Cindigo a file, so i tried the one from the preview scene, and no matter what i change in the "Film ISO" in indigo, the picture is allways black..., so i just wonder where can i get other camera files?

There are no other atm...
The file can also be found in indigo's data dir...
Just try to mess around with ISO and EV values.

Onfame:
try to use a longer exposure.

actually, cindigo uses textures set in the luminance channel, but only if emission is activated in the mat helper - at least it should.
