Let's buy him a Mac Mini Intel, Guys.

Post by zeitmeister » Tue Apr 22, 2008 4:23 am

Hi there,
this is my very first posting.

fused claimed that he can't compile Cindigo for Mac, because he doesn't own one, and he doesn't want to give away the sourcecode.

So what can we, who want to use Cindigo on our Mac, do?
I've got the answer: Let's buy him a Intel Mac Mini.
It costs about 500 Euros; that's not too expensive.

I don't know how many Mac users here run Indigo with C4D under BootCamp, Parallels or Crossover, but I've got the impression that we all would appreciate being able to stay in our origin OS.

So what I'd love you to do is raise up your hands, to get an idea of how many people we are and how much money we want to spend for a cool and working exporter.

First of all, fused could say if he had an Intel Mac Mini he would be able and willing to compile the exporter for Mac OS 10.5 and maybe 10.4.

What do you all think about that?
Let me know your answers.

Thanks in advance!

If you and Ono manage to share this Mac …
Would you consider sending your sourcecode to Ono?
Maybe we could bash two flies with one flapper. Erm. Sort of.

For serious: Let's see what the others reply – if they reply.

tungee, you're the man.
You read the "bad news" with SunFlow too, I suppose? :?
I personally would donate up to 100,- Euros, if we can't manage to collect more.

You've got mail. :-)

I don't know how to install a paypal donation system either; but I first want to wait for reactions about this issue in general.
If we have a few bucks, we'll find a way. :-)
