bug report:

- spheric env path isn't exported
- when materials have spaces in their names only their first name gets referenced in igs despite being exported fine on obj

Hi Fused,

if no Cindigo tag is used in C4D, an exported scene doesn't work cause no light is defined. I'm sure you are aware of that but if you would simply define the <background> environment light in this case too, the scene would at least work in Indigo as long as no infinite plane is used. Or you also set bidirectional to false (in this case), than even that should work.
Again, I mean just if no "Indigo Render Settings Tag" is used! :wink:

thank you very much! both will be fixed in the next release.

@Phoenix:

that makes sense. i will cahnge it. but i won't change any renderer parameters as long there is no render settings tag.

A "Normal" tag on an object crashes C4D at export.

Try this http://wiki.c4d-jack.de/w/images/5/5c/M ... object.zip from here http://wiki.c4d-jack.de/wiki/Metall .

But maybe that´s old news ;)

heres an instancing test. it was exported with the new version of cindigo (wich is comming soon).

it supports better(less memory usage) instancing, instancing of external (also ply, 3ds) models, which was used in this render.

Cindigo can handle 40.000+ instances (the new object is called "Indigo Instance"). Im quite sure it can handle much more.

Some infos about the rendering:

more than 20.000 instances, each 7.2 million tris.
making a total of 144544154838 triangles (144.5 billion).
