@fused
but surely the job of reading an IGM into Cinema (or Maya, blender etc) should be the job of an importer script ?? ;)

If one of the instances objcts inserted an object, the deformed all other instances objects. :roll:

i think you dont understand my bad language.

Wenn man über den instanz Objekten ein polygon Objekt einfügt, dann werden alle anderen instanz Objekte deformiert.

Well it seems it don't tile after all... I do some scenes with a tilable texture and althought it had appeared fine in c4d in indigo it appeared with the full texture size.

Does anyone knows of some program that can export a tilable texture so that I can set its lenght without having to copy paste it on photoshop? Any other work around would also cut it.

I do it by removing the UVM tag, set the material to whatever non UVM map you want and under coordinates or so you can tile the texture with the size settings. After that you let it create a UVM tag under Tags in the object thing on the right.
Hope that helps. :)

@pixie:

what i meant was, that the "tilie x/y" in the texture tag is not working for cindigo.

im working on that. please do it like kadajawi described it.

Im working on that right now.

supported mapping types will be:

-Spherical
-Shrinkwrap
-Cylindrical
-Flat
-Spatial
-Cubic

and here is a testrender with several objects using cylindrical mapping :)

Hi fused,

this sounds really promising, thank you very much for your indefatigable effort!

Just a very small cosmetic proposal:
Perhaps it would be wise to add a headline like "Task Priority" or "Indigo Task Priority" to the "Normal/Below Normal" part in the export dialog window.

I puzzled a while if it had something to do with the polygon normals till I realized it's for the task priority of Indigo! :roll:
