Cindigo 1.0 - beta 1
i think i found a solution to the 64 bit/vista problem. it seems that both versions dont have quicktime support, which might be the reason that the plugin is not working for you folks(since it is reading PNG files).
so i need to find a workaround. but maybe i already found one!

Hey Fused, great News dude!
I somehow managed it to get Cindigo to run on Vista 64bit, but on 32bit C4D only.
After updating Vista with all available Hotfixes & Patches by using (the german!) Dr Vistas Update Pack 4.0 Cindigo displays now in C4D 32bit.
This Update Pack provides all released Vista Updates ~ 80, while you only get ~ 50 through the Vista integarted Update service!
I'm not 100% sure about this, but this was the only thing I did the last day after unsuccessfuly trying Cindigo to work on my system!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to any new release. Editing every scene by hand to put in the material names is somewhat annoying, especially when doing lots of testrendererings with about 50 names each.
And just a small question, 1000m = 1m in real life in my model, so I set global scale modifier to 0,001. But the result of it was that my mobile phone got see through, a shot of the back revealed the front of the device. At 0.01 there was no problem. Is my model just to small/filigee or did I get the global scale modifier wrong?

you set the global scale right. do you use a specular(or glossy?) material with SSS ?kadajawi wrote:And just a small question, 1000m = 1m in real life in my model, so I set global scale modifier to 0,001. if yes, this is normal, since cindigo has no gain(or exponent, or whatever) value for RGB. but i will hack it in now.
a RGB gain test.
