Cinidigo scaling parameter....

Post by CoolColJ » Tue Jun 26, 2007 12:30 am

Well the Cinidigo export scaling parameter is set to 0.01 by default

I've been using a 0.1 value, and it seems this is too small and causes a rendering artifact as shown here

when I use a scaling of 1.0 - no more artifacts in render :)

so I think you should set to to 1.0 by default... 8)

I've had some problems with such big scaled scenes. The normals looked wrong in some places (there were some kind of stripes on them)

I'm using values around 0.025 and 0.1, works fine for me ;)

actually you should model your scenes in idigo units. 1 unit = 1 meter in indigo.

global scale is for ppl like me who like it big. if you model your scenes in real scale you should use the factor 1.

1.0 by deafault will be in the next version.

edit: read that other thread. now everything makes sense...
