Thank you!

Waiting for code in the absorption ans SSS definition, the inclusion of mie cumulus as phase function, the inclusion of maximum extincion coefficient value, ...

Thanks again.

I have added a ticket for that, will happen eventually. I really have to do some work on 3ds max now :)

another very old "classic" problem of indigo. alpha channels work very very very bad:
CLOUDS_ALPHA_TROUBLE.jpg
it depends too much on GPU Max Ray Depth parameter. In complex scenes this problem appears up to 10 (!) GPU Max Ray Depth (10 MRD - it means long rendering time). And you never know when it will appear on your renders!

In this scene (just clouds in scene), problem appears from minimum - 4 - GPU Max Ray Depth. Scene file:
CLOUDS_ALPHA_TROUBLE.zip
(144.76 KiB) Downloaded 235 times
also the same behavior of indigo - with indigo compositing tag (invisible to camera parameter). you always have the risk of seeing the shadow of an invisible object on your render ;)

I guess this is a general Indigo bug, it would be convenient if you posted those here: https://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=5

Thanks,

I tried the scene and it is missing the could texture. Could you export the scene to indigo and save it as a .pigs? That way I can file a bug.

Thank you.

i tested just now multi-gpu 4.4.13 fix (for 2 cores CPU), and can say, indigo can render picture with 3 gpu and one 2 core processor now (pentium g4400). but gpu utilization with 3 gpu cards is lower (cpu utilization is 100%), than with 2 cards (cpu utilization is 85-90%). i'm afraid, system with 4 cards will give even lower performance than with 3 cards, so, now 2 cards configuration seems much better for low-priced cpus even with this good 4.4.13 update.
