Hey there sger,

To add sunlight in Cinema4D, you have to use infinite light source (c4d object), to act as a guide for sun position for Indigo, or you can actually use the Sun object for true to life sun position, based on your time, and date. This actually works, because Sun object is basically an infinite light (even though you could change the light type for sun object) with Sun tag expression. After that, you need to use that object in Render Settings. Select Indigo, go to Environment, and from a drop down menu select Light type-Sun. You're all set.

As for the scene, you might wanna use an actual HDRI image, for environment light, instead of sun. It will give you nice color variations, and something to reflect in specular materials. The camera placement, it's FOV, etc. is more of an artistic choice, then technical issue, so you could do whatever you want. You could model the wall skirts, add some electrical installations, the rest of the room (it's all visible in reflections, shadows, GI color contribution). You could add some textures, bumps to the walls, and your panel. If you wanna go a step further, add some roughness variations in the mirror themselves. You can achieve this by using phong material type, with NK or high IOR value, and playing with textures in roughness channel.

Have fun, explore. My suggestion would be to look at some interior design magazine, and try to recreate the atmosphere you liked, models, etc.

Try adjusting the white balance, too!
