Hey fused,

sun + background material still doesn't work here... both Windows and Mac.
I even can't manage to set it up int the standalone GUI either.
Could you please check and repair it?

Thank you in advance!

@zeit It seems to be working by me. On mac with two lightlayers and the background cranked up.

Thank you very much, solved!!!
My fault; you don't have to put the env map into the color channel of the sky-material! If you do so, only the indigo sunsky is visible.

hello,

I can't control motion blur via C4D plugin.
Whitout camera (or Indigo tag) I got a very strong motion blur, ok.
But
if I add the camera tag, I loose it, maybe there is a special something somewhere, I try to change F-stop, exposure duration, autofocus, but without success :x

I get the clue 8)

all is in Exposure Duration setting, by default whitout camera, when the igs is created, the exposure is set to 20, so the blur is visible

When adding the camera tag the default setting for exposure is 500, so there is not blur information exported inside the .igs.

Alors ? --> everything is happening if exposure duration is in between 1.1 to 20 or more for less effect
lower the exposure duration = more blur information exported.
that logical, photographicly speaking.
but by the same time when generating a long blur, the exposure can be over exposed, mostly if you need a small F-stop value for blur by distance.

it looks like changing the number of keyframe subsampling is not take in account, only the variation of exposure duration change something.

here 3 images, watch there names for info about settings used : exposure duration value, keyframe subsample and fps of the project.

the timeline's cursor was at frame 0 and the cube is animated for 10 frames, 3 keys at 0, 5 and 10, the last image show the complete motion.

the exposure duration setting have to be clamped to 0.1 or more, because when 0 is used a huge number of informations is exported for a null result

Hi there everyone.
Maybe I am missing something but I think that the "Custom Export Path" and the "Custom Image Save Path" in the "Export Settings" tab in the "Indigo Renderer" render settings both are broken.

"Custom Image Save Path" was important for me since it was the only possibility to get untonemapped 32bit data from C4D Indigo that has above white values (those are important for my workflow).

If I use a path OR select "Export to scene dir..." the files are not showing up.
Yes I have set the "Image save period" to 30secs. and also have set a "Halt Samples Per Pixel"

If you would allow for 32bit images through the C4D saving dialog this would be not an issue. But it seems like the Images I get through C4D are clamped (no brighter then white) and 8 Bit.

I would really appreciate a response if I am doing something wrong or a fix if this turns out broken.
Thank you in advance!

P.s. I am aware that I can export my scenes in the standalone. But when I am doing animations its just easier to stay in the host app (C4D)

Small addition to the interface I would appreciate:
In the "Render Settings" "Image save period (sec)" instead only "Image save period".
I also work with renderers where this time is set in min not in sec. So I think it would be appreciated if it was stated what (time)-units are used.
