Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.0.43
Re: Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.0.43
Re Gamma issue: there is a new feature in indigo where it will use the gamma stored in the texture (if any gamma is stored), unless force_gamma is true. I will need to add that to the material channels.

Thanks. FixedOriginalplan® wrote:Steps :
1. Switching back from active GPU (Both) to CPU when PR is running. Selected camera active in your scene.
2. Stopping PR render. Deactivate the cam and zooming in closer to the model ( no cam selected )
3. Starting up PR again....and Boom crash.
Not sure this helps.?

Thanks! Did you manage to recreate the crash?fused wrote:Thanks. FixedOriginalplan® wrote:Steps :

Kinda did a harsh description....but mainly the problem was fireing the PR on and off and checking details with cam on and off.

I'm going to add some options to it. Halt spp, render mode, network rendering.Originalplan® wrote:+Another topic i was woderin about. PR render view now runs with an -1 spp setting?? Or does it stop somewhere? Maybe it's not necessary (you will know this better than me) but would it be snappier if it had an SSP
scale that is exponentially calculated / sec ? Indigo Mat preview has the 64-128-256-512-1024-2048 spp rates selectable. So would such an integrated spp scale speed Cindigo up? Or once it renders it renders..end of story?:)
Currently it renders indefinitely.

Yes, had to do with reading from a non existent camera tag on the default camera.Originalplan® wrote:Thanks! Did you manage to recreate the crash?

Perfect!Kinda everyone will work and check details all the time with PR i guess so it's good that this is fixed and more stable. Can't wait to test the new build but i know it takes time. Can we look forward to speed enhancements?fused wrote:Yes, had to do with reading from a non existent camera tag on the default camera.Originalplan® wrote:Thanks!
