It's one line of code away Camox, once set gpu will be used with the
Path tracing mode. See the "Mode Configuration" frame in the Indigo Render Settings panel.
That will only work with the GPU beta. If you have applied for it (by emailing
contact@indigorenderer.com) you'll have an email with the download link and some more information. It was released a day ago or so. (if you havent got an email yet, please pm me or send another email to contact@ :)
Ah, am I naive ... I was fooled because path tracing was so fast ...
Sorry for the confusion Camox !! How do I send an email !?

For a moment I was confused. Then it works only with the GPU Beta.
That's no problem CTZn. You wanted to help me. Thanks for that.

Thanks, Fused.
Downloaded and installed. The new network rendering schema works like a charm, I have a PC and a Mac, both running Indigo 2.4.4 and with the Indigo Network Manager, running on the PC, everything works OK.
Only a small thing: in the 2.4.4 Mac build, the info text line in the bottom of the Indigo window shows stripped (see the pic).
Thanks!

It's a beta version.. It will most likely be announced when a stable version is released. =)

awwww , no longer getting over 800k samples with basic MLT in some scene I'm testing now
It's cut down by almost half :(
Same for basic path tracing, I was getting well into the mid 1.5 million area, now it's under 1 million ;/
also EV seems to be way lower now

Two possible issues here: the one is the bug in the new kD/BVH building code, and the other is the increased colour precision that's getting rid of your multicolour splotches
I'm going to try to push out a few bugfixes for the issues mentioned in this thread (thanks for the reports everyone!) today, as I'll be taking this weekend off

I certainly notice the difference in sampling now, and caustics seem to resolve better in the water scenes I tried out. MLT and Path tracining no longer give me really high samples rates though! Basic MLT and Bidirectional MLT is almost about the same samples/sec wise, and Bidirectional PT is higher than Path tracing now in some scenes!
Something fishy about that :?

Yes.
Also this mac build has LLVM for both 32 and 64 bit, for extra fast shaders
