Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
Hi all.
I thought it would have been silly to add a new topic to the bugs/requests section just for this little one: I wish that, in the future versions of Indigo, once reached the halt time/spp Indigo won't close, but simply stop calculating.
Last weekend, I left the pc rendering a test scene on which I wanted to play a little with light layers, but when I came back home Indigo was closed, and the only image saved was the one with "standard" levels obviously. I had no time to play with levels in the starting moments of the rendering, so I was planning to change the values later. Well..I couldn't :D
My fault obviously, but it would be nice if Indigo didn't close automatically. That's it.

+1 except for animations, obviously. How about an option to toggle 'close upon finish' or something?Pibuz wrote:Hi all.

Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
Hi,
i've just noticed something weird, although i'm not sure if it's related to 2.4.4 version (if not - sorry for posting here) or is it a general question.
number of fireflies increased with longer rendering time - see atached images.
indigo ver 2.4.4; render method: PT ; supersample 2; MNCR 1000; skindigo 2.4.4

Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
Those fireflies are actually caustics and pathtracing takes forever to do caustics, if it's at all possible. It may clear up after a very long time, but that's what Bidir and MLT are for :)wojtek-w wrote:Hi,

So, it has nothing to do with version.StompinTom wrote: Those fireflies are actually caustics and pathtracing takes forever to do caustics, if it's at all possible. It may clear up after a very long time, but that's what Bidir and MLT are for :)

Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
Displacement doesn't work here also.
Re: Indigo Renderer 2.4.4 Beta
2.4.4 on OSX has some UI glitches but seems to work so far. Part of the status bar at the bottom is cut off and the light layer blending UI is really small and the input boxes are clipped.
