Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
Hi there,
there is a problem saving .exr (32bit only) in 4.6.0 standalone, color spin wheel appears, never disappears.
All other formats ok including 16-bit exr.
my system is MacOS 10.13.6, import from C4d (latest beta)

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
This build seems a lot faster than other recent betas..
To launch indigo and obtain a simple render feels almost instant...impressive!

Hi.
I've noticed that indigo sometimes gives a black screen after changing from Sun+Sky to Hdri lighting in the Environment type section. Indigo still keeps working but there's no chance of getting back unless re-export the file to Indigo. :s

Hi!
Is the Blender exporter still being maintained? The current one does not seem to work for Blender 2.93, probably because of this issue: https://wiki.blender.org/wiki/Reference ... er_Changes
Specifically, the bpy.props._PropertyDeferred thing.
Looks like the type generation is done in the extension_frameworks module. I'm not really sure what is the benefit of this module at the end of the day... seems to be a lot of work just to declare some property groups that don't really change all that often...

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
Hey,
There seems to be a bug with Architectural Glass and Blend materials.
The first image is using a simple Specular material with Architectural enabled. The second image is using the same material but also blended a tiny bit with a Phong material (0.1:0.9 ratio). The third image is disabling Architectural on the Specular material. Here the sunlight shows up, albeit very slowly... As you can see, the sunlight has no problem appearing on the inside of the glass in the first image, though it is absent from the second. The sunlight starts to resolve on the third image with architectural glass disabled. I have tried different render modes and also leaving the rendering on for longer to see if sunlight appears, but with no success.

I had a go at fixing it, but it's a bit tricky. Maybe we should just remove the dynamic property generation done with the extension framework and just use static properties (or whatever they are called)

helo
just found possible bug
after hit render and tick "optimise for denoising" box my whole frame just disapear
i have to save it to igs format and then reload that exported scene and render again
it is quite annoying .
i am rendering with GPU only .

No, on CPU. The light jumps from frame to frame

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
Is it jumping on frame refresh, or in animation?
Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
I rendered two frames from a still camera. The light behaves differently in each frame

Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
How long did you render these two frames, per frame/sampling round?
Re: Indigo Renderer 4.6.0 Beta Release
I don't remember anymore. I rendered these pictures to an acceptable level of noise for me. I rendered to about the same noise level in Corona and Thea render, in these renderers everything is ok. In Indigo 3.8. everything was ok too.
