Indigo 2.4/2.6 roadmap
Re: Indigo 2.4/2.6 roadmap
So, as you're changing the color in light layers will there be some sort of preview of the current color?

yes!neo0. wrote:So, as you're changing the color in light layers will there be some sort of preview of the current color?
pixie: the color box on the right opens a color picker when you click it.

As we say in New Zealand: "Peow peow"

Pardon my alarm then. =)fused wrote:Exactly. It is resizable and defaults to the same size as in 2.2 :)lycium wrote:The side panel is resizeable, and at the minimum width is quite compact IMO. We'll hear more from Yves soon ;)

Well IMO that's way better, the space is well used, another thing I like is alias taking layer's place, where before we would have a repetition of layer n: alias, which is pointless after all if I gave the layer a name that's how I wanted it called.fused wrote:yes!neo0. wrote:So, as you're changing the color in light layers will there be some sort of preview of the current color?

Nice! This is looking really neat..
BTW, feel free to take your time with 2.6, since my video card of 3 years is officially out of action. :P

Re: Indigo 2.4/2.6 roadmap
Yay, the layers are finally collapsable! Love that!
And I love the way you got rid of that clumsy "enabled" checkbox by using a simple and elegant square thats even visible when the layer is collapsed! :)
Oh and the new icons rock; never liked the old ones too much.

I actually prefer the old ones to those, but I'm not too fond of either to be honest.
Would you mind if I tried my hand at designing some?

Re: Indigo 2.4/2.6 roadmap
... something different:
Please don't forget the new floating licence system! I suppose that only not for me it's everyday business to work with Indigo at work (on heavy machines) and at home (on a smaller machine).
Maybe a poll about that could bring cleariness about how many people use Indigo where.

Yes... floating licence is a great idea.
I use Vray to which I have the usb dongle. I use it in the office and at home on my notebook. This solution also helps change my old computer to new one.

Re: Indigo 2.4/2.6 roadmap
Here's an icon set I came up with.. first 5 designed by me, last 5 I got off icon finder (free for commercial use).. Would these be something you may want to use? It's ok to say no.. =)
The open and close buttons are 32x24 wide instead of 24x24, so you may have to do a little tweaking in the code if you decide to use them..
Two things I noticed upon sharp examination of the user interface which for some reason I've never noticed before: The g's are cut off ... and Licensing is spelled wrong..
PS.
Do you think it would be possible to integrate tabs instead of a drop down menu to access light layers, resolution options, etc?
