Tried this new version, the old error message is back.

When trying to run the 64bit linux material editor on a 64bit ubuntu dist, the terminal says:

Code: Select all

Bus error
And then nothing happens.

That sucks.
The material editor works fine here, on 64 bit Ubuntu, so I'm not sure what's causing that. What version of Ubuntu are you running?

Hi Namco,
just to check, does indigo_console and indigo (the GUI) work?

Ono, what do you think of adding a "waiting queue" to indigo? Can be usefull for multiple rendering, not only animation, but multiple renders exported the evening you need to render during night. Would be realy nice too if indigo could be open just one time a day, instead it open/close 80 times. You put some igs in "waiting queue" and let indigo working. I'm actualy looking for renderfarm and it could be usefull to "administrate" renders, cancel or change priority when you work on different project in the same time.

Thx

This is definitely planned for Indigo.

I updated my two Ubuntu 64 nodes with the 2.2.11 version, it works fine until I use nk data, it doesn't find the Al.nk (in this case) file anymore, I checked in the nkdata folder and it is there. Where do the nk files should be when using a node ?

Hi,

I'm really sorry for taking so long time to answer. Both Indigo and and indigo_console worked, I only had problems with the material editor. I downloaded many different versions over a long period of time, and it always gave me the same "bus error" message.

However, after installing Ubuntu 9.10 and installing the Qt 4 network module, everything now works perfect. I have no idea what caused the problem Ubuntu 9.04.
