Ok so I did this and resumed using console. It works but my ms/s is still up at around 52 as it was with bih_tri_threshold 0... If I start from scratch then i get around 24 ms/s so it seems as though something is still awry somewhere
I think I'll just curl up in a corner and cry
...hold the phone! it's dropping slowly....could it be that indigo is just confused by the previous info and is actually going at 24 but will take some time to get the figure right in display?? Oh I do hope so...

Yes, forcibly to resume spp count Indigo has to read the previous rate, wich will progressively reach the initial (fixed) rate. But rendering speed is at max as soon as you resumed, it's just the global ms/s value being progressively updated.

Well I can definitely confirm that in the console version of 1.1.16 Win64bit that both resume and kd-tree bugs are fixed. My render is powering along now

Anyone experiencing crashes with some testscenes in linux 32 bit?
I get them as soon as I load a test scene.
BTW: Thx Ono!

Ono, many thanks for the release. Btw, 15.01 was my birthday. ^___^
* catching more memory alloc failures on init and during tonemapping.
Could this be related to
that report?
EDIT: Looks like it's not. Memory footprints of both 1.1.15 and 1.1.16 are nearly the same during rendering phase (actually, 1.1.16 uses a little bit more). I haven't checked tonemapping phase though.

joegiampaoli, which ones?
I had a similar issue with ISL due to some Linux Hardened kernel features. Are there any messages in system logs related to these crashes?

Hi, first of all thanks Ono!
Second, I think that this bug (release 1.1.15) has not been fixed in release 1.1.16:
delle wrote:With this Scene (GLEditor.zip) I get this error:
Shader runtime error: No texture with index 0
But the texture "0" is present
I think that this might be an Indigo error...
Indigo: 1.1.15
Exporter: Custom exporter

Here's another problem. Starting 1.1.16 on the scene (exported with Blendigo 1.1.14) I get this obscure error message:
Warning: failed to decode texture '../textures/metal/scratches_bump.jpg'.
Error: IndigoDriverExcep: SceneLoaderExcep: Failed to load texture '../textures/metal/scratches_bump.jpg' (In element 'texture', around line 75, column 13): ImFormatExcep: Error while reading JPEG file: Bogus message code %d
However 1.1.15 on the same scene with the same texture file works flawlessly (well, except for black triangles). I've attached texture file below.

Anyone else experiencing this error?
SATtva: please try opening and saving the JPEG file in another image editor, and see if Indigo gives the same error.

Thanks Ono,
Now that the library issues are fixed, it works great.
