- Forum français
Un forum général pour discuter en français

:D dunno if accents print ok for non-french OSs...

I know there is not much demand for now, but just in case...

Why not make a poll for languages and create the corresponding forum when votes are above a certain threshold (five ?)

Spanish seemed to be a big group as well. How could we count ourselves up?

though I still dunno how much this will separate us all from some good discussions we were forced to have at the same place because of using the same language :(

well, I second that yet I'd love to speak German as you do in the German forums! heheh

Now, from a personal experience point of view; the same idea came up in the Irrlicht forums and didn't work out well since the majority of users with experience spoke English; So once we had someone posting in a certain language there weren't enough users with the required experience to help him sort his problem out. In the end, and by necessity, they ended up asking in English; it wouldn't matter if it wasn't a perfectly "grammared" English; only that they could transmit their question and get someone to orient them in the proper direction. And specially in the case of programming languages, or in this case, an XML script which handles a lot of terms in English. Using English will help understand the format jargon better.

Yet still some specialized forums have been created outside of the official Irrlicht forums: Spanish, Japanese, German, French, etc.

:) I'm french, but my father is from Andalucia. Althought we never speak spanish together (but french), i've learned when visiting my family there (actually 95% are in or around BCN).

Yes, my point was it would help non-english speaking people, but you guys have more experience of that as you wroye afecelis... I think then these forums are to be used only when such person comes in, maybe a single forum with [language] prefix in the title could do as well...

Und ich kann auch Deutsch sprächen... nein, das ist nicht vierklich, ich habe es in die Schule gelernt aber alles ist vergessen jetzt !
