Hi Ono,

Thank you, thank you for the linux version!! :D

Unfortunately when I run the 64 bit version I get this error. I did have to install wxGTK to get it to even try to start. It appears that the versions are the same, so I'm not sure what the problem could be?!? Thanks,

Code: Select all

indigo_x64_linux_v1.0.9]$ ./indigo
./indigo: Symbol `_ZTV10wxClientDC' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking

indigo_console appears to run ok.

Ono, what version of OpenEXR that build needs?

Code: Select all

Jur: Beats me, whatever version of libopenexr-dev on Ubuntu 7.04 is.

Code: Select all

$ dpkg -l libopenexr-dev
$ dpkg -l openexr
should show you what is installed on your machines.

So everything is cool for you on Hardy? I am also running Hardy and am itching to try this when I get home (working on a new model in Maya, I am not dead - just doing a complicated model...).

Yeah it worked fine, no problems at all. I'm at work right now, but if you want to know the exact version of whatever libraries i have installed, I can find out and tell you later.

Havnt tried it yet, but hopefully ther will be no issues. Have been deep in Mental Ray for a while, so it would be nice to do an Indigo render again. I am modeling a car right now - maybe I can get I nice car paint from the new mat combos that are possible....

Thanks for linux 64 bits release.

indigo and indigo_console works excellent for early tests.

If you get gtk error, install libwxgtk2.8-0 (Ubuntu 7.10 - the Gutsy Gibbon).

exr work fine with standard Ubuntu 7.10 version,
libopenexr2c2a
1.2.2.4.3ubuntu2

Ono, Thank you so much, works perfectly well here with me @ 32bit I don't use the GTK front end much, always console, but its all working fine, and resumes with no errors.

Thanks again! :D
