Indigo v1.0.9 for Linux
Indigo v1.0.9 for Linux
Consider this build a test.
32 bit build:
http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/in ... &Itemid=62
64 bit build:
http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/in ... &Itemid=62
Let me know if stuff works or not.
Also, I'm interested in performance comparisons with the Windows builds.

unfortunatly not working for me - indigo don't accept values below 1.
eg. it keeps sayin: till i set this value above 1.
and when i set all values within the camera settings in the igi above "1", indigo closes before starting to render.
anyway ... THANKS ono for making a linux version.
[edit] ... oh, i'm using the 32bit one.
eg. it keeps sayin:
Code: Select all
IndigoDriverExcep: SceneLoaderExcep: aperture_radius must be greater than zero (e.g. 0.001)
and when i set all values within the camera settings in the igi above "1", indigo closes before starting to render.

just in case you wanna know, indigo crashes right after:
Code: Select all
Loading Scene '/path_to_my_scene/scene.igs'...
I just ran the 64bit version on Ubuntu64 hardy (unstable). Loaded+rendered the diffuse_transmitter_test scene perfectly.
It is just a tiny bit slower than the windows version.
linux: 255,000 s/s
windows: 260,000 s/s
EDIT: There's a slight problem with the GUI though, the log window has no scroll bar and not much history (can scroll back a little way with the mousewheel), and the render image fills the entire window, with the log window on top:
