Changelog:
4.4.10
* Fixed performance scaling when rendering with multiple Nvidia GPU devices.
* Added initial support for baking lightmaps.
See light_map_baking_ob_uid, generate_lightmap_uvs, capture_direct_sun_illum render settings.
* Updated Open Image Denoise to 1.2.2 - slightly faster and improves denoising somewhat.
* Fixed some clashes between Open Image Denoise and the Intel OpenCL driver.
* Printing line and column numbers for more IGS parsing errors.
* Enabled CPU bucket rendering for the benchmark.
* Fixed some missing UID translation for included files for IES, emission scales, diffuse transmitter and fast SSS materials.
* Igmesh files can now be drag-and-dropped into Indigo for previewing.
* Made bump maps on blend materials under coatings or in double-sided thin materials work.
* Added a combo-box to select the material preview scene, can now render all the preview scenes that the dedicated mat preview can do, in the main render view.
* Bumped included SkIndigo version to 4.4.10.1.

blend materials does not render yet (the same error as for 4.4.9, latest working version with blends - 4.4.8). try to rendered simple cube with gold material with cinema 4d exporter ( https://www.indigorenderer.com/materials/materials/810 ) :
Clipboard01.jpg
can you fix it? it's seems as critical error.

rendering doesn stop when spp limit is reached in network mode (network node is still working, but rendering on master is finished) - latest working version with "normal stop" is 4.4.6 (this error appears in 4.4.6 with new "pausing mode"):
Clipboard02.jpg
just make a setting to turn on or off "pausing for finished render". it's not an interesting feature for all animation scenes. only for static one-frame renders.

p.s.

my congratulations! GPU utilization graph seems incredibly beautiful. 2 NVIDIA GPUs - very close to 100% utilisation, all time. it's 10-20% of additional rendering speed. i think now indigo without hardware raytracing is faster then octane with hardware raytracing ;) does indigo support 3 or more gpus now?

"Added initial support for baking lightmaps"

when will you update the cinema 4d exporter? it's too many new features of standalone without exporter from cinema: i mean scatter, fabric, baking lightmaps (and very old problem with section plane)

...and please make setting for png depth in standalone

Hi Wob,
Can you please make another test scene that demonstrates this issue, and pack it into a PIGS file, and post here.
I can't replicate the problem.

here is pigm. test it in gpu mode (you'll get error, cpu mode works fine):

It just crashes
yes, this material does not render too in gpu mode (but works in cpu mode):

A problem occurred with the scene:
Error while processing material 'BlendMaterial' (UID 9):
Failed to find param info for blend(phong,blend(phong,diffuse))_nonbasic_345368794681950392_a::albedo

See light_map_baking_ob_uid, generate_lightmap_uvs, capture_direct_sun_illum render settings.
Ono could you explain this function better? I can't find any references or details.
Thank you very much

I see no difference on Mac in GPU and CPU mode. Also renders fine from c4d to Indigo.
No error code whatsoever. Maybe it's a win only problem or specific to Nvidia.

this problem desappeared when i change memory bar on my pc, i think it was just a hardware ddr4 error with strange crashes of another apps on my pc too.

p.s. opencl improvements of 4.4.10 add 15%-20% of render speed on nvidia multi gpu, i just test it on complex test scene (4.4.5 - 3:36, 4.4.10 - 3:02). nice update!

now indigo's main lag is a unavailability of traditional "solid" fog environment. recently i tested indigo's sss volumetric box (gpu mode) on interior animation project (animated camera, static interior) in 5000spp (not the smallest count of spp for animation) and i can't get fully clear video, using very powerful temporal denoising by davinci resolve and topaz denoise / gigapixel denoisers, because the fog was a quite grainy (5000spp is completely enough for non-fog video project). and indigo's denoiser just does not work with sss fog (makes glow solid spot instead fog). i know, it possible to use 10000 or more spp to get better results, but it negates indigo's advantage in rendering speed by comparison with redshift or vray, which have solid (non-pixelized, like indigo) fog enviromnents (like a indigo's sky model - it's drawn as solid, not "spp pixelized" object).

interiors with fog looks much better than without fog. pixelized fog is not a problem for static images (by old-school interior designers), but if you will try to make animated video with sss fog - you'll get terrible results, even with powerful denoisers. i wish to test indigo's sss fog in 4k resolution to make noise smaller because of 4k has a smaller pixels than 720p or 1080p. but it will be better to make solid fog evironment like indigo draws its solid sky object.

p.s. scatter objest also is very important to realization (cinema 4d / blender).

p.p.s. later: 4k 5000 spp with topaz denoise ai 2.2.4 (classic non clear ai denoiser mode) looks fine.
