Hi all,
This is mostly a bug-fix release, with the bug fixes mostly being for the render-channel support new in the 4.2.x series.

There's also new documentation on the render channels here: https://www.indigorenderer.com/document ... r-channels

Indigo for Windows 64-bit:
IndigoRenderer_x64_4.2.20_Setup.exe

Indigo for Linux 64-bit:
IndigoRenderer_x64_v4.2.20.tar.gz

Indigo for Mac OS X (10.9 - ):
IndigoRenderer4.2.20.dmg

Indigo RT for Windows 64-bit:
IndigoRT_x64_4.2.20_Setup.exe

Indigo RT for Linux 64-bit:
IndigoRT_x64_v4.2.20.tar.gz

Indigo RT for Mac OS X (10.9 - ):
IndigoRT4.2.20.dmg

Changelog:
4.2.20
* Fixed issues with null materials and beauty lighting passes.
* Using scene radius with camera for normalising the depth channel.
* Fixed material masks sometimes rendering into the wrong render channel on GPU.
* Made material and object mask names not restart the render on every keypress, but only when editing is finished and a change has been made.
* Fixed crash on enabling emission on materials in some cases.
* Fixed a bug that was occurring with a single object, with non-identity transform, on GPU, with merging disabled.
* Fixed asin function not working on GPU.
* Fixed crash with saving combined EXR.
* Fixed specular reflection lighting channel having incorrect name when saved to disk.
* Fixed bug with shadows being incorrect in some cases on GPU.
* Changed EXR saving to use a layer_name: RGB images are saved as layer_name.R, layer_name.G etc..
* Saving the alpha channel with main layers when saving render channels and layers.
* Fixed light layer thumbnails not working with alpha channel.
* Compositing light layer thumbnails on checkboard background like main render.
* Tweaked handling of processor groups for Windows systems with more than 64 logical processors.
* Fixed non-culling section planes.
* GPU: Added support for non-culling section planes.
* Added save_subdivided_meshes renderer setting option - saves subdivided meshes to disk as igmesh files.

What software are you using to open the EXR file?

confirming black/broken .exr (either with: "Save Image", "Save Un-tonemapped Image" or "Save Layers & Channels")
Tested with: Irfan (black), GIMP (exr plugin crash), picturenaut (black), blender (black)... (png & exr attached)

In Nuke it is in "tonemapped" or "untonemapped" layer.

Alembic object renders flat shadet in Cycles while in indigo it renders smooth.
Why is that so?

Are you using Edge modifier to define edge shading? IIRC, Blendigo doesn't read Normals setting from Blender.
Can you post example file to check?

This version of Indigo crashed on me. I can share the scene if you like. An excerpt of the log files is copied below. This same scene did not cause errors on prior versions of Indigo, including 4.2.19.

Thanks,
Marc

I am using SketchUp 18.0.16976 (2018) on an iMac running OS 10.13.6. I have the SkIndigo plugin version 4.0.61.2.

I am unable to get SketchUp to recognize any version past 4.0.66. I get repeated dialogs to choose the location of the Indigo application. I have not renamed the folder which is itself located in the Application folder.

Any help?

Cheers,
Ralph
