Hi OnoSendai, thanks for your reply. How/where do I make this change? What is the infifile.xml? Thanks.

You will probably need to edit it with a program running in administrator mode.
You can also put the code in the renderer_settings element in your .IGS file.

Thanks. There is another way around this but again it's time consuming and that is to completely shut down the computer between each scene being rendered, restart and render the next scene. Do you think this issue will be resolved in a later version of indigo so that we do not have to change settings? As mentioned indigo version 4.0.64 renders larger scenes ok but the latest versions do not for some reason. Thanks

noelyone: I don't know what the problem is yet, so I can't comment on when it will be resolved.
Did you try setting allow_high_quality_bvh to false? Did it help?

I was still unable to edit the text in that file even though I am an administrator

Noelyone, just copy the file in other location, edit it and overwrite it in the original location (indigo folder).

Hi Ono & Yonosoy

Thanks. I managed to copy in the code - see attached screenshot. But the same problem persists, the scene does not render in the latest versions of indigo.

Hi Ono

So the issue is purely based on large scenes that indigo cannot render when GPU is ticked. Unticked the scene renders but the scenes take too long this way.

Well, i've been playing a bit with this new version and it seems that an old problem i used to have is gone ( whased out colours right after the first export to INDIGO from Skindigo).

And now i'm facing a "major" problem when using the OpenCL. Everything seems to be fine, indigo loads the files without any problem but it never shows a rendering progress in the image view ( it was a very small7low poly bath scene ).

I had to go back to the 4.2.14 version.

Hey Lal-O,

what does the log say, any error message there?

Hi Zom-B

No problem in the render log.
This is what i get after 7/10 min render. ( The image says 12 seconds , but i let it render more time and the result was the same ). With the 4.2.14 i got a very impressive progress compared to this new release.

Final result with 4.2.14 Here:

Disable your CPU as a openCL device and try again, this could help.

Also, the position pass should be able to write negative values to EXR. Anything behind (0,0,0) is clamped, leading to some funny results :P
Fixed for next release :)
