Hi guys,

Will this beta release work on Sketchup 2017? I am thinking of upgrading SketchUp from 2016 to 2017.

Any feedback would be helpful.

Thank you,

Hey,
just downloaded the Beta 4.0.46, it does not recognize my nVidia GTX 1070 as an OpenCL device - it says "No supported OpenCL devices" in the OpenCL Rendering tab.

Is there anything I should do or configure or is this GPU not supported?

GPU Rendering was working fine with the stable 3.8.29 version.
I'm using Windows 10 Pro and the 64bit version of Indigorenderer 4.0.46.

Thanks,

GLOSSY Materials RGB spectrum containing color data don't show up on OpenCL render.
Ono Sempai please do some magic about it. ^ _ ^

That's so strange. The GTX 1070 is definitely supported, it's pretty much the best GPU for Indigo 4 right now, I have one in my computer.

I really can't think of any reason why it isn't being detected on your computer, there are many GTX 1070 owners using Indigo just fine :?

What OS? System configuration? Any other strangeness?

Is there an error log or anything like that?

So i found the problem.
On the same PC I had an AMD Radeon GPU previously installed, and apparently the driver uninstall process left quite some stuff behind, including the AMD opencl dlls being registered.

With some painful registry cleaning, i could now get the GTX 1070 working with Indigorenderer.
Best,

Same here. No problems.

@walnist
Thanks for the info.
Which AMD card do you use? (you didn't listed any)
Does it work in unison with the 1070?

:/

Indigo OpenCL definitely seems to favour new NVIDIA GPUs a lot over older ones.
