Why?
Is there no external alternative? Net option?

after i end up working mobile (SP3) i just sent stuff elsewhere :)

& This is why i hate modern soldered crap. Goes against all common sense. Everybody wants to profit just on limiting users and making them dependent (junkies). With the all-in-one stuff (one good component, else crap), not to mention impact on the environment (waste, burn, emit...), economy (local services are almost non existent) & community (ignorant fans in over-hyped conflict). If the corporations would only start taking this crap back and recycle it... instead of just talking and advertising. Ah, such were the great promises in the 90s.

Sorry, needed to let some of the steam out...

Thanks for the info.
Which AMD card do you use? (you didn't listed any)
Does it work in unison with the 1070?
It was a Radeon R9 280X, and i didn't even try running it in unision with the GTX 1070, i've simply unmounted and replaced the old card with the new one, and apparently residuals from the old card drivers prevented the new one to work correctly with Indigo.

Hi folks - I'm not sure if Glossy Transparent is supposed to be supported yet by Open CL but I'm having problems with it. See attached scene which, I admit, is very challenging with hundreds of light sources and no daylight. The problem is the central chandelier which has a glossy transparent (frosted) surface. It is lit from the inside.

With Open CL the sample rate is several times higher but the light isn't getting through the glass and the warm colour of the glass has disappeared.

Compare it to the simple Bi-Directional render (also 60 minutes), which shows a much better resolution and the correct colour of the glass.

Am I simply pushing the boundaries of what is achievable here, or do you think this will be cleared up in a later release?

Thanks guys for a fantastic product - I love it.

No. The only boundary is the computer you on and the hardware you have. :)
Wait for the next release. I have the same stuff with glossy transparent materials.
There are still some features not in for OpenCL...but for a scene like yours Bidir is fantastic i think.

Just some thoughts...wait for someone to reply from the team, than you have a solid answer.

I agree - it comes out nicely with Bidir but I'd be looking at 48 hr renders or something along those lines. I need the power of the GPU.. But I'll follow your advice and await the next release. Thanks!

Neither Vray or Corona seems to do a great job with denoising. There are quite prominent artifacts showing up. I am all for denoising in Indigo if it's done well and doesn't screw with the image quality though. :)

Working well!

quick requests..under material properties it says "rotation/scale" with numeric values set to 0 or 1
Can this be adjusted as a rotation in degrees? (and mirror?)

Can the background plate overlay work as an underlay when foreground alpha is used?

And i really miss the Stop button - not sure why yet, but it just seems odd that its missing :S

Can we add the marked part back in white to the DARK interface?
The blue ISL code's are kinda lost in translation on grey.

+1 from me on that - probably the main reason I don't use the dark theme
