I also use an i7 2600k, but it is never shown as usable device in Indigo! I was hoping it's graphics unit could be used too...

Also no luck with my 560ti, even with simple scenes / mat preview.

But you devs are awesome, I am planning to upgrade my pc based on the infos in this thread!
How much is the upgrade? I'd like to use V4 for my CPU-renders, but the resolution is to small...

Run in Linux:

./indigo
This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb".

Available platform plugins are: linuxfb, minimal, offscreen, xcb.

Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

you have to specifically install the opencl drivers for the cpu. As for the 560ti i feel you, I have the same problem.

So... those of you on OS X – The NVIDIA panel in System preferences did not detect a newer driver on its own. You can get one here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/mac-driver-archive.html

This changes nothing for me though. Still crashing on Building OpenCL Kernels.

Hey Voytech. Can you specify what OSX you are on? 10.11.4? And what kind of mac?

Hey Prof4D.
Try it with a simpler scene.

This is the same error I got, even with simple scenes... there are material kinds that it works, but if I change those to phong, for example, I get this error.

Do some tests on OSX, on iMac 27, i7 (3,4) - Nvidia Geforce GTX 680MX (2048 M) - Open CL 1,2 - latest CUDA driver.

Open CL drivers are part of OSX and can't be manually updated (only CUDA).
GPU don't works in Mavericks (render window is divided in two square)
On Capitan, crash during open CL build with bedroom scene BUT I can render Erotica scene !

Did someone can do Erotica test with others OSX / material configurations ?

Hey Patrice.

Keep in mind that the bedroom scene from Arthur is a pretty heavy scene....TON of geometry in it.
Thats why you can't render it. Your iMac isn't strong enough for it.
I strongly suggest to use El Capitan simply because it has updated drivers.
Another thing to keep in mind for OSX users who are not on a Mac Pro is that OSX only uses the week GPU
(if you have two built in) so either use a manual GPU switching app or switch to higher performance mode in system preferences. On new iMacs or laptops you can ignore this because El Cap will switch automatically...but not on Mavericks.

Ps: Try Oscar's Optimized scene or simpler scenes for testing.Hope it helps.
