yep, it definately should be included, as already many times...

If that's the case, just put a toggle button in the GUI to turn on or off live tonemapping.

also because of getting indigo to run on remote machines over SSH.
have any of you actually tried to do this?

so long as the switched on the GUI can also be used on the command line when -noGUI is used.

Why not let it be modular?
So the Indigo renderer as single (CLI) program and Violet extra but a GUI that use these and probably also a xml-editor, a material editor (like tizzx's) and whatever else would be useful as kind of modules, if you know what I mean.
