First off, there is now a 30 day trial that will start as soon as you install this beta. The trial allows you to render at unlimited resolution for 30 days. There will however be relatively subtle watermarks over the high resolution image. After the 30 day trial has expired, you can still render at <= 0.7 Megapixels with the single Indigo watermark in the lower right corner.
Is this beta version a 30 days trial only or does it also work as an unlimited full version for licensed users?

any chance for a mac build of this to try out?
the glass acceleration would really help out on a couple things I'm working on.

If you have a full licence installed, then Indigo will remain fully operational. The 30 day trail is only for unlicensed users.

Hi Frank,

That's strange indeed; please confirm that you added <glass_acceleration>true</glass_acceleration> into your renderer_settings, using Indigo 2.6.1, and are rendering thin, double-sided glass (i.e. the usual Indigo glass volume with a medium inside). I've downloaded 2.6.1, installed it, edited the INI file and it works here, so it's probably some minor configuration problem.

Hi,

also, it currently only works with bidirectional.

I will release a 2.6 version of Cindigo, which will have an option for it, in the near future, along with a R12 version of the 2.4 stable exporter.

Thank you, for finally answering my question! :o)
In this case, I can dare to test this version too. ;o)

Is there a way to test that Mac build ?
I can't find any link to it.

Hey,
sorry, I removed that build because it had quite a serious issue that resulted in (pretty much) random crashes. We will release Indigo 2.6.2 soon with a new mac build.

Yes, it should be compatible with the latest versions of SkIndigo exporter.

What is your anti-virus software (you said "it") ? It is probably inefficient, if not harmfull. Does it allow you to download other executable files (*.exe) over the web ?

Here's the analysys log from the award-winning av I'm using:
Start of the scan: mercredi 1 décembre 2010 19:42

Starting the file scan:

Begin scan in 'D:\dwnlds\3d\indigo\IndigoRenderer_x64_2.6.1_Setup.exe'

End of the scan: mercredi 1 décembre 2010 19:42
Used time: 00:00 Minute(s)

The scan has been done completely.

0 Scanned directories
480 Files were scanned
0 Viruses and/or unwanted programs were found
0 Files were classified as suspicious
0 files were deleted
0 Viruses and unwanted programs were repaired
0 Files were moved to quarantine
0 Files were renamed
0 Files cannot be scanned
480 Files not concerned
1 Archives were scanned
0 Warnings
0 Notes
You probably want to uninstall or unactivate your pretending protecting software in order to download Indigo, however I can not take responsability for the actions you have or will take on your computer.

The Indigo archive is safe.
