"material_preview xml"
Hey Radiance...
How about bringing your "material_preview xml" up to Date,
and start a new thread, where everybody could contribute
some Renderings of the (working) NK Materials like here:
http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... hp?t=16024
I would love to help this way!!!

You are totally right, the lack of Documentation doesn't make easy for Beginners to start working with Indigo... But this will change in the (near) Future!!! You can find some few previews of the NK Materials, and some advanced informations here: http://www.flipcode.dxbug.com/board/topic/495 Adding ...

i would'nt integrate this into the indigo core as it's not a good idea to let processes govern they're own priorities. it's also not very portable from a coding point of view... Hmm... isn't a good Idea you say... may I ask why??? By portable you mean, you can use the same exe on linux/unix that I ...

Prozessor optimization...
Hey Ono-Sendai... After you speed up Indigo so much by multithreading I just ask my self if Indigo is someway optimized for some CPU Stuff like MMX SEE1 SEE2 SEE3 etc. Is it possible to support this CPU extensions, and make it availible for the User by switching them on in the inifile.txt, to keep I...

Sounds good! Some big Projects with lots of polys need some Time to start... caching the Date on disk would be fantastic! I look forward to future progress of your great Project!!! thanks *EDIT* öhm.... would this caching of Data on disk also allow to continue a Render, that was stoped before??? *hi...

Benchmarks...
I did some quick & dirty benchmarks to test multithreting in 0.6 test 1: I own a AMD X2 3.800+ 1 Core 100% 2 Cores - 1 thread ~116% 2 Cores - 2 thread ~210% 2 Cores - 3 thread ~215% Indigo seems to use my second Core also even if only 1 thread is defined. Always when the log File gets Updated the se...

Request: multithreaded TriTree::build()
After the multithreaded 0.6 test 1 version is out I started testing this build, everything fine for me so far! :D But I recognized, that after starting Indigo while the Render do the TriTree::build() only one of my prozessor Cores is used in this pre-rendering state. I'm new to Indigo, so I have to ...

Request: Process Priority
Hey Ono-Sendai... Now after adding multithreading to Indigo your Renderer runs like hell :lol: But by using both of my Cores the System just respons slower, because Indigo uses all my CPU Power, so I always have to reduce Process Priority to a lower Level by hand... Is it posible to add Process Prio...
