Re: Acreage - day and dusk
Only thing: beware of blank-skyed windows 8) The little pines are excellent indeed: what collection do they come from? The little pines are Scots Pines from Xfrog. (3D). All plants and trees are 3D. I am bit disappointed in the Xfrog library pre-made library trees. Some trees are quite nice but a l...

Re: Making Realistic Carpet
..using the fur plugin (actually, the Make Crowd tool), I can easily scatter my 'dummy grass' components across sloping terrain. ..I was actually re-thinking about it: how do you scatter the component over sloping terrain Dale? I mean, your dummy is a string or similar, I suppose: that way, the fur...

Re: Warning: Safari update 10.7.4 and latest OSX update
I haven't tried this yet but if it works, it can be a temporary workaround until Apple issues a proper update.

Re: Environment map
There is a '..' button to browse for the Env map if you are using the latest SkIndigo version. After choosing the file, SkIndigo will set up a new 'EnvironmentMap' material with default settings.

Warning: Safari update 10.7.4 and latest OSX update
See this topic: http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11614 There is a bug in the latest Safari update (also packed with the latest OSX update) that causes black input fields in web forms (which SkIndigo uses). I believe Apple is aware of the issue and I am trusting that they will ...

Re: Skingo Input Fields are black
The issue is apparently caused by the latest Safari update  and affects all plugins that use webdialogs. I will see if I can provide a fix in the next release but I'm not sure when that will be. Try to revert to an older version of Safari. If I can find another workaround, I will post it here.

Sorry guys,
I have noted this thread and am looking into the issue.
Can you confirm that older versions of SkIndigo do not have this issue?

Re: Making Realistic Carpet
Thank you cotty for your inspiration for using the awesome MakeFur plugin. Any SketchUp user would be wise to put in the time to learn the power of using the plugin in combination with dummy instancing. I was finally able to come up with a 3D grass system that gives good results. Using the fur plugi...
