that animation that ctzn made would be pretty kewl if it was a smoother transition. i just thought of a great idea: wouldn't it be nice if we rendered a whole day/night cycle that would be loopable in indigo, like 1 frame for every second and then we do a blend so that it will appear as an animation...

there already is a fast GPU GI raytracer, called parthenon, google it :wink: I got around 7000 mutations in 10 minutes on cornell box.

Knaxknarke: Thanks for the books & etc, at the library where my dad works all but one of these books are readily available 8) I know that an unbiased renderer is more than a matrix transform, but i gotta start somewhere and im not the kind of person to make vaporware or come up with fantastic ideas ...

mrCarnivore: i wasnt arguing that, just that the normals in blender could be .1 units or 12 units, as long as they pointed in the right direction it wouldn't matter to indigo.

wait, so the red filter would be (rgb): 0 1 1
and the blue one would be 1 1 0

For materials use precedence 2 and IoR 1?
BTW what does precedence do? just curious.

And i should use a track-to for the camera's to point to the empty, right?
