Since i started with Indigo, it was always my biggest goal to create an absolutely photorealistic archi viz. Maybe even this lovely, I could plot it in large scale for my appartment ;) Now I think I've found an object that would be worth all that work. I wanted to let you participate in my work in p...

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.16 Beta Release
"Invisible to camera" option seems to be out of function too - when I try to hide an emitter so that it just shows up indirectly in reflections - it still shows up to the camera. Hi Oscar no, that's exactly how it's supposed to work. It will be invisible directly to the camera but indirectly it wil...

section planes
Hi, found the time to play around with section planes. Technically it works really good, way better than in c4d itself. But I noticed a really bad drawback: It's not possible to exclude single objects from the section plane this makes this feature absolutely useless for now :-/ maybe this ist just a...

Re: Alpha Materials
and always make sure to use "step blend" when using such kind of alpha maps, this way indigo will clamp grey values to black or white, so you won't loose rendertime on semitransparent borderpixels

really good looking meadow, but the grasstraws still look spiky and straight, maybe you could bend them just a little. and also the white of the daisies could be a little brighter.

Re: "Advanced" WIPs
Love the light and material setup, as usual!!!
But I'm not quite sure if I like the strong distortion caused by the wide-angle in the lower right corner (the whole table and chairs)
*edit* agree with oscar

Most general technique might be 3 point lighting

I like it. Has that blown out, hot summer sun feel. Over- / under-exposure is not always a bad thing! I agree that under/overexposure isn't always bad, BUT looking at this picture exposures just don't fit. If he would have like to show overexposed situation, the sky should be way more blown out. an...
