Very nice render psor. If you wanna fake a carpaint you could use a trick, copy the body of the car, scale it just a bit bigger and give it thickness. Pity about the noise; if you squint your eyes, it looks almost real.
If you can live without dispersion effects, I suggest setting cauchy b coeff to zero, for faster convergence/less noise.

What's happening is that the (Reinhard) tonemapping automatically maps the image so that the whole image is 'exposed' correctly.
