materials save just fine in Skindigo. and if you know about the presets in skindigo why are you asking for a car paint? sharing materials is great but until you have as many users that Fry or Maxwell have the db isn't going to be that big. and why would you ask eulgrand to share the material if he t...

All that would be needed for material previews, would be a fast, optimized scene at low res (100*100 or something), and a fixed number of samples/pixel to obtain a clear render. This took 33 minutes to render.. Not exactly real time but that could be cut down to a few minutes with decreased resolut...

I messed up first is without aperture diffraction second is with. pic names are correct. anyways, I was wondering if I could get a nice evening/warm/dusk type sun from just sketchup. Because, in skp it just gets darker. In other renders created in Blender or whatever, I think you can set parameters ...

Pibuz, I was looking forward to your FAQ!!!! DonZ, welcome, there is a new tut stickied in this forum, Skindigo 1.1.6. That has good information in it. The best way to sue Indigo is to have a good grasp of the app you are using to model. So, if it's Sketchup than you are here, just remember to keep ...

I guess I never thought there was actually a point/dot/thing.

I very much like the fact that I do all my modeling and materials in a program that I already know very well , and than export it to the renderer. There is no learning curve for me, as far as learning a new program. So, please just keep Indigo doing what it does best, rendering! There is one great b...

Using and EXR as a material
Hi, I requested this in the 1.1.16 thread, but since I sort of got it working (thanks for the help Whaat, the answer is almost always right in front of me) I though i would start a thread. It is a good idea to go through the new tut by Whaat on UVmapping. At the most basic, you can choose the exr as...
