I have used meters as unit, but setting to cm doesn't help either, doesn't seem to change anything. I've tried copying the missing objects to a new scene, same problem. Hm, somehow when I set the scale correctly some objects are missing. Does anyone has a clue what I might be doing wrong/what I need to check? When the objects are 10x of the original size (via global scale multiplier) everything works fine...

I didn't post the image because of the noisiness, I've picked that one because it was the least noisy failed rendering I found. I think it still looks unrealistic without the noise (just imagine it isn't there )
