Updates. I'm rendering on 4 dual core machines right now, but still it needs quite a long time... :( Ok, there are 4 pictures to be done. Not finished with rendering yet... except for this one, maybe.

Stunning. Amazing. wow. Who else is thinking of a BbB scene filled with objects by the doc like these puppets? Maybe some others can contribute too... would be one hell of a rendering effort though with all the SSS etc. going on :D

I also prefer the 3rd one from left, though the difference in shinyness is a bit strong. But looks fine. Though the pure white one looks very cool too, with its SSS :)

whoops, yes, I meant 0,01.

Hm, Indigo 1.0.5 works fine here.

Strange. Make sure to remove every other Cindigo version except the newest one out of the plug-ins folder. Other than that... no idea.

Hm, but I didn't see any difference between 1 cinema cm and 1 cinema meter, they should be of different brightness I thought. Nevermind, I will leave it at 0,1 :) Thanks alot! And I will change the wood :) @Azrael: Is it in the plugins directory? On my computer it looks like C:\Program Files\MAXON\C...

I have used meters as unit, but setting to cm doesn't help either, doesn't seem to change anything. I've tried copying the missing objects to a new scene, same problem. I will attach the new scene (renders quicker etc.). Here is the new scene, with textures (without textures the rendering looks diff...

Hm, somehow when I set the scale correctly some objects are missing. Does anyone has a clue what I might be doing wrong/what I need to check? When the objects are 10x of the original size (via global scale multiplier) everything works fine...

I didn't post the image because of the noisiness, I've picked that one because it was the least noisy failed rendering I found. :P I think it still looks unrealistic without the noise (just imagine it isn't there  )

But will the Sun perform well in Indigo? Will Indigo run at all? Out of the box I would say the Mac Pro is about as good as it gets, though Dell etc. might offer better workstations. I would say you need one as the main machine to do the modelling, gaming etc. on. Maybe another box for saving electr...

Looks as if you added some 3D balls into a photo :D Except for the weird balls it is photorealistic to me. I don't see any flaw :D
