The laptop im kinda interested in does have a 64 bit Core2Duo T5550, 3gb and a nvidia card.. I'd avoid the T5550 since it's outdated and is built with 65nm technology. A laptop with a processor from the T8000 or T9000 series will be much better. The T8000 and T9000 series are built with 45nm techno...

I'd avoid acer too as they have the nasty habit of stuffing their computers full of trial software that just occupies space and slows the computer down. I made this simple experiment in order to recreate the bug. Through the right sphere there is a meshlight cylinder and inside the left sphere there is a sphere meshlight for reference.
