about the watermark, i'd be easy to paint the pixel(s) over if you knew which one they were  The pixel(s) have to be close to colour to its neighbours, otherwise they would be very easy to spot, just by looking... Also: Ever heard about post-processing? By changing the brightness/contrast ...

Re: File stamp
would it be possible to change the naming convention of files to reflect the render type used? ie. biMLT12345.png, HYBRID12345.png i think this could be very usefull and adds much more meaning than the img prefix currently used. That idea is not too bad, but when you start at that, why don't you al...

edit: i good idea. We could have a small pixel value modified to a certain number, and that pixel would always stay that way, so it'd be like a watermark, only 1 pixel though. that way if some company is producing images and art commercially, we could see the watermark. Lol. You didn't think this o...

In that case a prompt would be usefull, in the case where you are not saving any image (by mistake). Prompts are really awkward, when you want to do batch rendering (as can be the case with network rendering). So I would suggest only a warning message if there is absolutely no output defined and th...

@xrok1: Is this the first forum you are in? You should try to learn some rules and obey them! The lesson today is: Don't reply to threads that lay unreplied for many months if you just want to say something like: "wow good render"! You did it quite a lot recently. And everybody got confused, because...

Since I was the first one in the MPD thread to remind everyone to stay ontopic, here's why I did it and why I still think that everything I wrote was ok: The thread started to drift OT, not through spam, but through helpful comments. But still those comments could have been instantly continued in an...

I like the black-green topmod thingy best. It reminds me of h.r. giger's alien. :-) The black material with a hint of green works perfect with the shape. the ring looks waaay to big, beacuse of the wood texture. Usually a wood board is about 5-10cm wide. That would make the ring enormous! Or is it a...
