Re: Blendigo 2.4.x Releases

With motion blur, all exposures work except 1/4.

Code: Select all

A problem occurred with the scene:
SceneLoaderExcep: ObjectExcep: Frame times must be strictly increasing. (In element 'model', around line 271, column 5)
Indigo version: Indigo Renderer v2.4.4, Windows 64-bit build.

Re: Blendigo 2.4.x Releases

You gonna add an option to rotate/offset envmap?

Re: Blendigo 2.4.x Releases

Exporting with no envmap still exports with indigo error.
Loc works alright now. Rot and scale doesn't work alone though.

Now you'll probably get a bunch of questions like "Why is everything in my scene white? I chose sun+sky" :P

Re: Blendigo 2.4.x Releases

That's it, thanks.
But is this a bug/limitation in blendigo?
I mean, it doesn't matter if I have to apply loc or locrot, but you don't have to do that in blender render.

Re: Blendigo 2.4.x Releases

Using 2.49b. Tried both 64 and 32 bit.
Using rotation instead of location I can go below 1/30, but still no motion blur. Tried with a bunch of keyframes including frame 2.
Getting blur in blender render is easy.

Re: Blendigo 2.4.x Releases

How are you setting the animation keys? using dummies and parenting? if so that won't work. What's the proper and simplest way to do it? I tried I > Loc, move to frame 50, I > Loc, with stationary camera, cube moving. Tried camera tracking cube with monkeys behind. Tried camera moving. Also, if I u...

Re: Blendigo 2.4.x Releases

Since you obviously can detect that there is no sun and switch to mesh emitters only, can't you detect if the sun is being added/moved to layer 1, then automatically change to sky+sun environment? I don't think anyone adds a sun/moves it to layer 1 if they're not going to use it in the render. Edit:...

Re: Blendigo 2.4.x Releases

Couldn't get motion blur to work either. Tried with different exposure durations, which I guess controls shutter speed? Aperture blade offset seems too large above .35. If you go above that you will get 4 additional blades, so maybe limit to .35. Curved blades give softer glare, but curvature 10 giv...

Re: Don't upload copyrighted material, unless you're allowed

Rules are made to be broken, right?
Include a 3d model with the pigm (if that's possible), and "customize" the texture for it.

Aperture collection

Let there be light! Here's some AD effects for you guys. Share yours if they are worthy of being shared. These haven't really been tested in a proper scene. A higher f-stop/smaller film width will increase the diffraction effect, but blur the image more. Here's a sharpness test from sharp to blurry....

Re: CoolColJ's test pics thread

If you're referring to my RAM, I have 8 juicy gigs. I have blender 2.49b 64-bit, blendigo 2.4.3 and also indigo 2.4.4 64-bit.

Re: CoolColJ's test pics thread

Blendigo only goes to 0.5 offset, but edited the igs with your settings. Still no really long flares here. Seems to be restricted to that square space.

What exporter do you use?
Can you post the igs without any objects, just the sun?

Re: CoolColJ's test pics thread

How did you get those really long flares? Tried 200.000 different settings.
Try obstacle maps for different effects.

Re: CoolColJ's test pics thread

You're running with 2T command rate?
What's the white stuff on top of the tree in second render?
