I did a simple test: 1) did a 50x50 image on photoshop with fiber filter 2) in cinema added a plane 3) put my global scale multiplier to .001 as I use mm as my base units 4) add a material with the texture as bump 5) in a text editor exchanged the bump to displacement and added the needed tags on th...

I didn't saw much of a problem but then perhaps the joins are on the back... still I wouldn't worry too much with a perfect case scenario, I would if repeated tiles wouldn't join well though...

@cpfresh I see one problem in that stone grass implementation... they both have to have different IORs, and AFAIK Indigo don't support IOR maps.. so or stone will loke like grass or grass like stone. Perhaps one might give a great exponent map to grass and a lower to stone, and the future 16bit png ...

Any special reason for not attaching to the thread instead of linking it to a external site?

For the moment it cannot be downloaded, and in the future it would render the thread moot if for some reason the site cease to work...
