Re: [REQ] Light sample multiplier
Thank you Zom-B.
Unfortunately it seems to be unavailable for background settings. Would be great to have it for sun/sky separately.

[REQ] Light sample multiplier
This is really cool feature that puts more samples to indirect so interiors are evenly sampled. It's very common that direct sun inside interior is almost noiseless and there is noise everywhere else. https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000515640-what-is-light-samples-mu...

Re: interior renders
Actually white paint has albedo about 80%, so setting RGB to about .91 is still ok as RGB values are gamma-corrected.

They are so great! Maybe upsampling bump texture for better resolution and making iron more rough inside grooves would make improvement here: https://www.google.pl/search?q=disc+brakes+closeup&num=100&safe=off&client=firefox-b&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiN1L_t3_bTAhXBkiwKHY4LBQ8Q_AUICigB&b...

Re: Emitter not lit up
That "IES from triangle" is really unique and powerful in Indigo. That way when you assign IES to very long rectangle divided into small squares you will get pretty accurate LED stripe

Re: [REQ] Sun scale factor
Maybe workaround using distant IES can be fast enough.
Also I was experimenting with large disc (sphere was slower), as in Maxwell you can't have sun+hdri. Though currently I can't remember what size it should be. I will try to find this and put here.

Re: [REQ] Sun scale factor
+1, but I'm using such solution in Maxwell and it gives "artificial studio effect", if you know what I mean: https://www.fxguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/SunRadiusRoom.jpg I think, that to work good it should add soft halo (radial gradient) around sun with variable size. This should give more ...

Re: Camera Response Functions
One of sources can be adobe dcp profiles from cameraraw (lightroom), available also with dng converter. Although dcp beside standard uses film-like curve that keeps hues constant. But I don't know how to extract tone-curve from dcp.

Re: Camera Response Functions
Here is agfapan-apx-400CD green channel chart. As you can see importing camera response is quite easy. It might be possible to create function in calc that interpolates e.g. 10 points into 1024 points with spline like this: https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4574 Idea is to create...
