Re: Rendering Time

Indigo is an un-biased render, so it never stops rendering by itself. Instead, you tell it to stop rendering when you think the image is good enough for your needs.

And almost all 3d rendering is done by your CPU.

Re: Kitchen Interior.

Hmm..now that is strange indeed. What if some person finds it amusing to upload some regular porn to the "best of" gallery? Ben, I think you need to take some action here? Don't forget, that Indigo is commercial now. I wouldnt mind some porn, will make the gallery more atractive, i mean some easter...

Re: Kitchen Interior.

oops. I seem to have mis-interpreted the image gallery :( I uploaded into the folder "Best of Indigo", as I thought that Benn or Ono would have to approve it first. :| If you guys don't feel it is "worthy" :P of that section, you can delete it and i'll upload it again to the Interior section.

Re: render is grainy looking

You need to let the image render for longer. That's why Indigo is an "Unbiased" renderer, it never stops rendering, you stop it when you think the image is adequate.

Re: Render on ranch, igs?

The .igs scene can be thought of as the 3d model itself, while the .igi file is essentially the image-but with all of the SPP data stored. (I think, lol :( ) So, the .igi file is useless to the RANCH... you need to give them the igs file, which is what is exported to Indigo everytime you render an im...

Re: The Indigo dA page?

Ono's got a page on there. But yeah - an indigo page would be rad. Especially if you guys let us post some of the indigo stuff onto DA :D Perhaps you could add a check-box on the submission form like: "Do you give us permission to use this render on Indigo's Deviant Art page?" And you would obvious...

Chromatic Aberration / Fish eye lens effect.

Don't know if this has been suggested before, but think it would be a great addition to Indigo. http://www.isl.co.jp/SILKYPIX/english/products/ds3/function/image/lens_aberration01_2.jpg And as for the fish-eyed lens idea, it would obviously be something for which the degree of distortion would be ad...
