I have I5 2500k OCed to 4,5Ghz.
For me indigo takes all the CPU and GPU while rendering.
Right now i have GF 460 1,5 GB and it's ok.
I thought this Tesla willbe faster than this.
But if there is a cheaper and faster choice i'll consider it.

[repost] Need advice about GPU choice.
Hello.
There is Tesla c1060 for 420$.
I need an advice. Do you think that this GPU is worth buying?
I usually work in 3ds max 2011 with various render engines (Vray, indigo, trying to manage octane), Adobe CS6 photoshop, indesign, premiere and after effects.
Thanks in advance
Mateusz

Re: Photo thread
It was quite hard. We were filming with 3 cams each time. Pianist had her studio recording on mp3 player and listened to it while playing so the expression was the same.

Re: Tilting and shifting
It would be possible to implement such "indigo camera" in future as tool in 3ds max plugin?

Tilting and shifting
Hello.
I have some question.
How to do tilt and shift in indigo.
I'm interested in "guess vertical" from v-ray
Anyone knows if this sort of options are available in indigo?

Re: INDIGO RENDER vs nvidia SLI
I don't really know what is icq fileIt could be a single IGQ file that would successively load and render each of the test scenes for a fixed amount of time.
But this could help and get less questions "which card should I buy?" or "wchich CPU is the best", etc.

Re: INDIGO RENDER vs nvidia SLI
That reminds me of benchmark topic. Is there a possibility to produce some standalone benchmark for indigo? The one that uses all possible settings I have some connections in benchmarking and testing forums and it could provide valuable information, but the are not willing to instal indigo and run a...

Re: INDIGO RENDER vs nvidia SLI
As far as i know Indigo does not have sli support yet.
And when you use indigo from blender you will have an option to choose between cpu and cpu+gpu (which works now only with path tracing)

Re: Problem (IES, Lights)
Thank you. I was doing like this but i didn't worked out.
But now works. It apears that it does not work with some first IES files you have in zip.

Re: Problem (IES, Lights)
3ds max 2011 and latest indigo exporter 3.0.7 Unfortunately i don't see this ies option. I wanted to do the prism simulation like here: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a8/Prism.png and to learn how to control beam of light. In max it's more simple - you have standard spot or direct. ...

Problem (IES, Lights)
Hello everyone. I'm dumber than I think and for me there is a real problem to do IES Lights in Indigo (I cannot find place where the IES file should be chosen) And I don't know how to do direct lights like max's standard ones. Do i need to model all lamp including structures or there is another way....
