Re: SkIndigo 3.6.8.1

@Lape Do you definitely need to use the 'add sun' option? Have you tried upping the gamma on the Env Map to get sharp shadows? Yes, I need the sun option. Only Env Map with gamma doesn't give me shadows. My model is placed in a photo, so model and photo shadows should be similar. I always take my o...

Re: SkIndigo 3.6.8.1

Updated build, fixed the hedge instancing. Thank you, now it works! :D Do you have a solution about the problem with the environment map? Whatever render method I use, the model turns black, as if the "add sun" option doesn't work. If there is no solution, I will have to uninstall this version and ...

Re: SkIndigo 3.6.8.1

The worst thing is that i cannot get my environment map work! Now I am back on 3.8., and this is what happens, see attached screenshots. This seems to be an issue with sun + env map with bidir enabled. Just avoid that combination for now. No, it also doesn't work using path tracing, can't get the s...

Re: SkIndigo 3.6.8.1

...about the instancing problem: It only works, when the component doesn't contain other components. In my case, it is a hedge, and there are different components for leaves, branches etc. When I explode these components, and only have one major component, the dummies will work. Unfortunately this b...

Re: SkIndigo 3.6.8.1

Component instancing does not work. I know, I should not install a beta when I have to finish a project, but now I reinstalled 3.6.28.3 and get this: SkIndigo version: 3.6.28.3 SketchUp version: 14.1.1282 Ruby platform: i386-mingw32 Error during processing: BlendMaterialUndefined C:/Users/Knopp/AppD...

Re: double sided thin and uvs

Lape, Am I correct in thinking that you need 3 materials for the thin mesh; 1 which you paint to both sides and set mat type as 'double sided thin' and then the 2 materials that you want to actually use? Similar to the use of a blend material... bubs Right! See attached screenshot. But I really can...
