Re: AtlanteanSword

Nice :)

The bloom effect on the most left picture reminds me of Oblivion.

Re: Simple Villa Exterior

Just to answer your question, the rays caught my eye and I think they are too much.

But wow ! Both pictures are incredible, the jungle effect is a success ! It looks warm and rainy. I like it a lot.
Very good job !

Re: New design

Let me know if there's anything that desperately needs changing. Furthermore, the pictures seem automatically resized, thus they are very aliased. Am I the only one to be bugged by auto-resized-über-aliased-posted pictures ? It's cool not to loose the overall layout of the forum because of a too bi...

Re: Iceberg

Thank you WyRaven, much appreciated :)

Thank you for you feedback too ZomB. In fact, what you see is the result of an accidental uv handling, but I thought the result was pretty good. I thought it looked like a natural fissure.

Well, now I admit the crack doesn't look so natural.

Re: Glass errors

Why such a thin glass mcm ? It's unrealistic, don't you think ?
You should let the ray nudge distance at its default value and make your glass a little bigger, in my humble opinion.

Iceberg

I had started a wip for a while, but never finished it. Let's say it's done now. I'm still not 100% satisfied, but I'm done. Crits are still welcome though :) I couldn't get rid of the strange noise in the water, I think it's a mix of noise because of sss and shadows from the waves. So I did a bit o...

It looks like an overlapping faces issue. How thick is your glass ?

Re: Some night shots

Your pictures are near perfect to me. Maybe you could raise the intensity of lights as the interior looks a bit dark, but that's the only thing I can say.

Great, as always.

The fonts !

Sorry but I hate this one. Hard to read on a screen.

Furthermore, the pictures seem automatically resized, thus they are very aliased.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread

I know I have already posted a golf ball in the past, but I was not very happy with my modeling. I've made lots of trials and errors and finally found a way to model this ball very quickly in Blender. The studio setup is heavily inspired (let's say copied  ) from Zed_pmd's one here : http://ww...
