Split the surface into 4 in Sketchup. Subdivision should kick in then.Bosseye wrote:Thats what I figured with the displacement, but I'm setting subdivisions in the mesh edit to 9 (as per the tutorial) so I assume its not that.
It used to work great, but now doesn't and I can't figure where I'm going wrong.

Option to include Render Mode in Info Overlay
Would it be possible to include the chosen render mode and maybe some other options like supersampling factor in the info overlay? It would help in quick comparisons when testing for best render settings for a scene.

Re: series of houses
Nice, clean renders! Great work. A few minor points if I may... In the first render, the dark windows make the house look kinda gloomy. Maybe put some lights on inside? Also, the paint on the car looks a tiny bit like plastic. I think Oscar or Ono made a great metallic paint recently. Worth a shot. ...

Well what do you know... it doesn't do that anymore! Could it be that it was the first run of Sketchup 2015? I don't think I closed it and opened it up after installing skindigo.OnoSendai wrote:Voytech: Can you please send me such a scene (.skp file)?

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Hi everyone! I just finished this render for my 3D class at NAD, Montreal. Done in 2 weeks. We had to make a 3D object that looked like a photo. I used Cinema 4D, Indigo, Photoshop and Marvelous Designer, the render is in 4K. Hope you like it! They might boot you from school for cheating you know.....
