Re: Architectural Visualization Study - The Farnsworth House
With the trees, much closer to the house, I re-rendered a previous scene.

Re: Architectural Visualization Study - The Farnsworth House
Jeff, Very good render, i tried to render this house (see my joined picture). Is it possible to share your file? I could give you some interesting file. Studiouno, Thanks Studiouno! Nice rendering you got there. I attached the sketchup file of the environment I am using. In order to reduce the file...

Re: Architectural Visualization Study - The Farnsworth House
This is even better Jeff. Vegetation is now really good (I think because we can't see any too close  ) I really like the greenish-blueish tone of Farnsworth 19H . I think you have to work a little on the marble floor mat now: at the moment it is somehow dull and too homogeneous, in my opinion...

Nice image Tom. I like the composition. Just wondering, is that file you mention the .igs file?StompinTom wrote:Grass!Sucks that adding 100 000 instances raises the file size from 4 Mb to ~27 Mb .

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
A couple of random renders and a short animation in anticipation of the GPU version, just for fun test, I missed out a decent chunk at the start. I will re-render it with a better texture when I can speed it up with the gpu. Only 300SPP/frame. Video: 14mb http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6928552/indigoboxes...

Re: Architectural Visualization Study - The Farnsworth House
I re-rendered another scene. This time, I made the trees much bigger and closer to the house. Before they are really very far from the house. The location of the vegetation is now similar to the reference images.

Re: Architectural Visualization Study - The Farnsworth House
Hi Jeff! Glad you choosed this shot, it's one of my favourites 8) I like the long shadows you have in #17, and the warm lights inside the house. You have a little little little issue when turning sun off: you get a not-too-much-realistic black hole in the sky  I think the grass mat is a little...

Re: Architectural Visualization Study - The Farnsworth House
This is outstanding! I wonder how you did these heterogene colors with all your plants... all my renders always look far too much colored. Do you desaturate your textures in general by 20% or something? Great job and improvements! Thanks zeitmeister! For the colors, the green was picked from a phot...

Re: Architectural Visualization Study - The Farnsworth House
Great progress so far.. Some suggestions: 1.those floating stairs are really bothering me.. 2. Perhaps you could place some more tall grass patches at the edges of the forest and scatter it (sparsely) in the open area? Keep up the strong progress, this Is going to turn out great! Thanks a lot zilla...

Re: Architectural Visualization Study - The Farnsworth House
I decided to develop and work more on this scene after it got some very positive feedback from you guys. http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/download/file.php?id=11053&mode=view Some notable changes on this update. 1. Increased the variety and number of trees on the scene. 2. Fixed the material on t...
