if you run on cm it makes sense to put .01 since m is the indigo default size.

I attach a scene akin to that giving the problem, and which the 'problem' still remains. Whenever I do Exit Portals I do like this, close the last further hole where light might come in, otherwise I don't do it at all(if for example something interesting is outside the window). The ratio is: with: 3...

Exit Portals Question

I've been trying to use some Exit Portals to see if I can cut in times yet to no avail. I put them as it should, with normals corrected, z axis inwards still I have less samples then without, something I wasn't expecting. Anyone knows why? I though that anytime they would make the render go faster.

I would suggest you to buil a studio setup, it will get a better lighting and improve the overall look of it.

I never got carmine to work... he said it lacks software despite having the .net framework. I would really like to see this program of yours.

Anyhow, thanks for your work.

Ok, but it has the full range of stops, it goes black on -11 to complete white on +5. That's why I find it strange one not to consider it hdr

@ZomB: My sun is an object, check scene attached. @dougal2: This is an angular map converted from latitude/longitude one because i wanted to use the original file, its 'split' in two, top being sky and bottom pure black... it's done by one of hdrshop plugins named sky. I can increase or decrease sto...

The light is only apparently uniform, as its rather dinamic on itself. I had tried with a fake sun, to no avail... :(

This is a ldr version of it, as the float was about 3Mb... The evermotion maps are to flat IMO.

Give it a try ;-)

PS-after all compressed it goes way below the 3Mb mark
