Is there any specific reason for the default IOR to be 1? I can't remember ever having to mess with that value unless working with transparent materials.dougal2 wrote:That's because your IOR == 1.0. Try increasing that value and you will start to see the specular highlights.

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.5x) 3.0.10.1
Tried to install the new exporter, doesn't work.
Blendigo shows up in the addons menu with correct version number (3.0.10.1), but I'm not able to enable it by clicking the checkbox (it just stays gray).

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.5x) 3.0.10
Phong material settings are not working properly. The "exponent" value doesn't have any effect unless you check "Specular reflectivity", so basically you can't have any meaningful materials right now... I can't reproduce this issue, exponent is being exported and used correctly by Indigo. Now that ...

Re: sun/sky issue
If indigo doesn't currently support this, is there any chance that it might in the future? Indigo is capable of such a sky! The example you posted shows the "magic/golden hour" in a dusk or dawn scenario. Simply lower the sun in Indigo to get a more reddish sky... Or just edit the color of the sky-...

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.5x) 3.0.10
What button you are supposed to hit to actually launch Indigo? The "render"-button simply opens the Blender render window and does nothing. I do have all indigo bells and whistles in Blender UI, the "path to Indigo" is correct, I have "autostart" checked, and there is no error message anywhere (and...

Btw, isn't the "Display int" -setting obsolete since don't remember how long ago?

Re: Blendigo (for Blender 2.5x) 3.0.10
Thanks for the tip. The console just says "INFO: export finished; took 0.017000 seconds" (yes, the test scene is that simple). No errors anywhere. And all my objects have materials. edit: Now it's working. It was the indigo location after all: the file browser had made relative path to Indigo, and i...

Seem like RT is a "light" version of Indigo. So nothing interesting to us lifetime-customers.StompinTom wrote:What's the difference between Normal Indigo and Indigo RT?

Re: XBOX - Looking for tips to improve
I would improve the environment to be either more realistic (maybe a shelf with a few games and TV and cables and stuff) or more simple and clean. Right now the corner and the edge to the white nothingness are a bit distracting. And the lighting could be IMO a bit more directed, so that there would ...

Re: Neoo's Work in Progress thread
The problem is that you can't really have only starlight, because it's just not strong enough. If you lower the gain until the stars look good, your ship will be totally black.
You will need a sun if you want to have a good looking space scene.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Ok a WIP, not sure where to go with it now. Theres something I don't like about it, but can't put my finger on it. Probably because I'm no architect so my house design is...odd. But hey Ho. What would you do to it dudes of the forum? This Dude would change the composition of the picture. Straighten...
