About instancing, you have to Alt+D instead of Shift+D. Duplicate Link(Alt+D) will be translated as instance via Blendigo script. About others, I've never used Indigo's Subdivide before. My guess is that it exists to help people who use software that doesn't directly support Subdivide (ie. SketchUp)...

I'm using an old GeForce FX 5200 that has very useful buttons, like max/min windows but instead it works for dual monitors. So I set my default Blender as shown below. Once I launch Blender, with one click on that magic button, it's automatically spanned across the monitors. Not sure though if it's ...

Actually, the <-h master:7777> is optional. If I remember what Ono told us long ago correctly, slaves will automatically look for master's port and connect to that port. And that won't interfere or effect the rendering process on slave. But then again, I always define master's port on slaves because...

After BbB's zillions of trees/leaves "test rendering", I think he (BbB) is the right one for this (and basically for a lot more to come). :wink:

If you want to rename the uv set (of the external mat) to match yours (from Blender), open the .igm file with NotePad (I use Crimson Editor) and find this; <uv_set>default</uv_set> and replace "default" with the name you want. About another error. Loading the texture (that came with .pigm) in UV/Ima...

Look at page 81 in the manual (Indigo_Manual_v1_0_x_2.pdf). I think it's a good start.

it goes like this,

on master box;
indigo.exe c:\render\original.igs -r c:\render\resumefile.igi -n wm

on slaves;
indigo.exe -n s

you can also define master's port when running slaves. ie,
indigo.exe -n s -h mastername:7777

Or you can always look at the manual :wink:

I looked at it since I haven't used the preview for a long time. Seems like it has something to do with albedo paths in .igs( in "previews" folder) So I changed all the albedo paths that start with <..\textures>, ie <albedo_texture> <path>..\textures\preview_logo.jpg</path> into <albedo_texture> <pa...

<edited2> Here is a 4sec., 400x300, 25fps test. The 7.z file is 17 MB. http://www.tonedev.com/indigotest/clothTest.7z <edited> SmartDen, the cloth sim. does work. I found out that in order to make it work, the Subsurf modifier need to be "Apply" first. BTW. It'd be great to generate sequential file'...

As far as I know, "Set Smooth" is not fully supported even to a mesh. Usually,I have to use Subsurf.

Then again, I could be wrong.

Knowing you're thinking about it is good enough, thank you, SmartDen :D

I'm now thinking about the material problem that might occur if the two files (or more) have the same material's name and such.
