Re: litght layers bug
here's the link to zipped skp file (i tried to post it here but i failed)
http://www.sendspace.com/file/zbs89w
there's some unnecessary geometry and materials but only two emitters - 'halogen' on layer 1 and 'flame' on layer 2. Layer 0 is for sun'n'sky

Re: SkIndigo path problem
Hi Nick, please specify what do You mean when saying "indigo don't start" - does export process starts? Or nothing happpends at all? If export works, try to save exported scene, open indigo from desktop and try to renderer. If export process doesn't start, then there's problem with exporter (skindig...

litght layers bug
hi, I've noticed a strange bug with light layers. In my interior scene I have 3 light sources that should be on separates layers (sun&sky - layer 0, halogen lamps -layer 1, fireplace - layer 2). After export, in Indigo i have layer 0,1,2 but layer 2 is empty and fireplace emitter is on layer 0 with ...

Re: Picker doens't pick the right material! why?
hi AlainBo, 1. make sure that the tip of the picker is over surface You want take material from - edge may have different material assigned. 2. if component (or group) is painted with a material not used inside of it, then indigo may render its external material. f.e. You have box with red walls, bu...

Re: export error when writing to external drive
thx for Your answer.
Although I'don't think it's a mapping problem. Other communication (reading, writing) with this network drive (mapped as P:/) works fine. Even a sketchup file I'm trying to export from is located on this drive...

export error when writing to external drive
during export when i choose en external (mapped) network disk as a destination en error pops up. to be exact: export process starts but after few seconds it ends out of blue. In ruby console i've got: Error: #<Errno::ENOENT: No such file or directory - P:\ folder_name \ subfolder_name / filename -me...

Re: [REQ] Help me modeling this
hi Pibuz,
i've tried to model something like this in the past. I must admit that with sketchup it is little bit tricky. I was in a hurry so i have used some approximation like this attached below back then. It worked for me

Re: impossible to change render path
when YOU say this, my question may be really stupid, but what about 'save IGI' checkbox and path prompt for igi and preview files below it in 'output' tab?djegoo wrote:Currently, you cannot change the path where the PNG and IGI files are auto-saved.

Re: wood in the bathroom
hi, thanks for Your comments. about wide angle: i'm not a fan either - image is distorted like hell. BUT i can't see other way to show more than just a corner, when we are in relativly small space. about temperature: here's a cooler version... (postpro) about saturation: i know that saturation shuld...

wood in the bathroom
hi all, here's my latest render. Because of the wood-like-tiles on the floor we decided to add some real wood stuff, like wood slices on the mirror (covered with glass surface) and sticks inside showerwall. What do You think? All model and objects are made by me (i'm using sketchup). Rendering metho...

Re: what is this error??? help plz
hi,
there is an issue with displacement in sketchup (or rather skindigo). try to lower subdivision level or use bump instead.

So, it has nothing to do with version.StompinTom wrote: Those fireflies are actually caustics and pathtracing takes forever to do caustics, if it's at all possible. It may clear up after a very long time, but that's what Bidir and MLT are for :)
