Re: [REQ] Hide option for emitting mesh
I ask even more: "Exclude from camera" not only for emitting material and exit portals, but for any object in general ... e.g. Walls....
Finally I will be able to render "small bathrooms"...

Re: [REQ] Invisible Exit portal
We're having an interesting discussion on this one. Let's hope it bears fruit :D I think it's important that you guys keep discussing this kind of thing (including the relevancy of compositing) so we keep getting the hint ;) Composting is like the practical-application side of rendering, which can ...

Re: [REQ] Invisible Exit portal
I suggest a more general approach. A flag "visible=false" to camera (but not for the GI e.g. reflected rays), for all mesh object. Not only exit-portals but, in general: mesh lights, walls, ceilings... The last two are very important to render small rooms without using a fish-eye camera  I ...

Re: Problems with Material.base_emission
Hi, I'm playing around "Spectral Power Distributions" (SPD), trying to assign them to Indigo materials. I'm trying with three different approach. Using similar (equivalent) blackbody colors. The problem is that the results are different. Here are the materials: 1) regular_tabulated: I've created a ...

Spectral Power Emission Grabber
Hi, I've created an Application to extract Spectral Power Emission data from SPD images (available from ligthing producers). The Program search for a RED graph line (255,0,0), so if you have some interesting link or SPD images (better with the red line drawn), please post them. It is very import to ...
